Ester oil LFC 4220
Ester oils are chemical compounds made of carbon, hydrogen and oxygen, which are made from organic acids (carboxylic acids) and alcohols. Through targeted manufacturing processes, they can be adapted very well to individual lubrication problems. The advantages of our ester oils are their excellent lubricating properties in a wide temperature range from -35 °C to +140 °C. If there are any problems with sealing materials or paints, we recommend the use of our synthetic oils from the ELKALUB LFC 9000 series. Compatibility of sealing materials with ELKALUB esters: Recommended: Fluorocarbon polymers, fluorosilicone rubber, nitrile rubber (> 30% acrylonitrile), polyacrylate rubber, polyurethane, silicone rubber. Not recommended: Butyl rubber, ethylene propylene copolymers, ethylene propylene terpolymers, natural rubber, nitrile rubber (< 30 % acrylonitrile), polychloroprene. Note: The oils of the ELKALUB LFC 4000 series practically do not form any residues under normal operating conditions, even at higher temperatures. Avoid painting the inside of the tank as far as possible, as the paint-dissolving effect of paints cannot be excluded. The ELKALUB LFC 4000 oils are compatible with commercially available mineral oils. However, the old oil filling should be drained and new Viton seals should be used to ensure successful operation. In case of doubt, we should be contacted.
